1. A picture of your smiling face.
This works much better than a logo. People want to see who you are. It makes it easier to buid trust when people can see that there is a real person behind the blog posts and not some automated article spinner made to collect adsense revenue.
2. Briefly describe the unique aspects of your life and your character. This is not a full blown biography, but simply a chance to describe the major highlights that have contributed to who are today.
3. Include revelant details - be specific. There's enough vague material floating around. Don't be afraid to be zany and energetic, make it your goal to stand out from the crowd.
4. Include at least 3 interesting facts about yourself that people wouldn't be able to guess by looking at you. Do you have a weird cheese collecting hobby like the character in Coraline? Are you a chef who gets his inspiration from rodents? Whatever it is, share it.
5. Briefly describe a few of your lifetime goals. Before I die, I'd like to see a summer solstice in Alaska - I'd love it if I were there this time of year. What about you?
